There is no doubt that Derek Jeter is beloved in the baseball world. He spent his entire 20-year career with the New York Yankees… and is now the CEO and part owner of the Miami Marlins. But the new front office executive made a really bad call. Marty Scott, a 64-year old, hopped on board with the Marlins in 2011 as a Vice President…. and since then has been doing the work of a Scout. Back in August doctors found a cancerous tumor in his colon when the diabetic was in prep for a kidney transplant.
